How to Transfer a RunSignup Bib Entry: The Complete Step-by-Step Guide
RunSignup is the largest endurance registration platform in the United States. If your race organizer enables participant transfers, you can legally and safely reassign your registration in just a few clicks.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Navigate to RunSignup.com and click on your profile icon in the top right. Go to "Profile" -> "My Registered Races".
Find the race you can no longer attend and click "Manage Registration" on the right side of the screen.
In the top or left navigation menu, click "Transfer to Another Runner". Enter the recipient's full name and email address.
RunSignup will immediately email an official claim link to the buyer. The buyer clicks the link, enters their emergency contact info, chooses their shirt size, and confirms registration.
Once the buyer confirms receipt of the official RunSignup confirmation email, RelayBib releases the escrow payment directly to the seller's bank account.
